Description

TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Occupying a peaceful bucolic setting, Pinetree A/B is home to four vibrant women with varying interests and talents that complement each other and the staff who support them. The ladies are actively involved in setting goals toward a more meaningful and independent life while enjoying their community and various activities such as arts and crafts, theater, dining out and bowling. A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 30 hours weekly - Thursday / Friday 3p-11p, Saturday 9a-11p

Starting Salary: $19.44 - $21.39 per hour with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's License

  • Computer skills
