Join our compassionate and dedicated healthcare team at Pine Acres
Available 8 hour Shifts: 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a
Available 12 hour Shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
As a Nurse (RN or LPN) , you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and promoting the well-being of each resident based on their individual care plans and assessments. This position is ideal for experienced, passionate nurses who want to make a meaningful difference in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions during rounds.

Implement and follow care plans as directed.

Administer prescribed medications accurately.
-
Participate in physician rounds and chart visits.
-
Perform narcotic reconciliation between shifts.
-
Identify significant changes in resident health and take appropriate action.
-
Oversee and support nursing aides during your shift.
-
Complete incident and accident reports as per policy.
-
Conduct resident discharges in accordance with procedures.
-
Complete nursing assessments before contacting physicians.
-
Communicate clearly with residents and their families regarding health updates.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program.
Licensure:
-
Active LVN or RN license in good standing in the state of Iowa
-
Active and current CPR certification
