About Chai Discovery Chai builds the design suite for molecules. We train frontier models that learn the underlying foundations of biochemical structure and interaction, so scientists can move faster and pursue targets that other methods cannot reach. AI is reinventing life sciences the same way it reinvented software engineering, and Chai is at the forefront of this shift. About the role We are looking for a data operations expert, or a fast-rising generalist, to help drive data generation initiatives here at Chai. Someone who operates with urgency, has strong communication and project management skills, and who has an analytical nature. Data is vital to training frontier AI models, testing research hypotheses, and supporting our partners. You will set the vision and execute scaling of Chai’s lab-in-the-loop data platform, working hand-in-hand with our science and research teams. You don't need a biology background, but you will need to pick it up while learning about our AI methods. This is a chance to push the boundaries of drug discovery and contribute to some of most advanced AI models ever imagined. Design & drive complex projects and workflows, across multi-party relationships.

Translate research goals into concrete deliverables—experiments, deliverables, success criteria, SOWs, timelines, trackers, etc.

Communicate highly technical information with clarity.

Juggle concurrent projects and priorities, adapting quickly and keeping everyone in sync.

Develop a vision for how we scale our data program by orders of magnitude.
You have a deep desire to push the limits of what’s possible and restless drive to solve real-world problems by iterating fast. Exposure to startups or other intense environments is important.
