Location: Rogers, MN 55374
Hours: 1st Shift 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $28-$32/Hourly/W2

JOB OVERVIEW
Lotus Technical has a contract to permanent opportunity for Class A Welders with MIG & TIG experience for our client, a manufacturing company located in Rogers, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Must be local to the MN area. Sorry, no relocations.
DUTIES
Advanced Fabrication & Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret complex drawings, layouts, and job packets to determine dimensions, tight tolerances, welding sequences, and fit-up requirements.
Precision Welding: Execute high-quality MIG, TIG and Laser welds across a variety of metals, strictly adhering to DSI’s quality standards and customer specifications.
Complex Fixturing: Design, build, and utilize custom fixtures to ensure accurate assembly on challenging or intricate parts.
Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a go-to subject matter expert on the shop floor. Train, mentor, and guide Class B Welders and assist supervisory and project management teams in establishing industry best practices.
Process Optimization: Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities, eliminate material waste, and recommend solutions for problematic or inefficient setups.
Shop Operations & Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, maintain accurate inventory counts, and enforce shop floor safety at all times.
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum Experience Required
2-year Welding Trade Degree plus 5+ years of hands-on welding experience (a balanced combination of equivalent education and practical experience will also be considered). Mastery of MIG/TIG welding procedures, metallurgy, and advanced quality inspection processes.
Leadership Mindset: Strong communication skills with a proven track record of positively mentoring peers and sharing technical knowledge.
Problem-Solving: Sharp troubleshooting skills to resolve process issues and unsafe conditions proactively.
Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs (and occasionally heavier loads as needed).
Must be US Citizen, or Green Card Holder.
Must be local to the MN area. Sorry, no relocations.
