OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipefitter for Marana WRF Phase II, in Tucson, Arizona .

The Pipefitter will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related portions including metal, plastic, ceramic and composition; install plumbing fixtures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assembles, and installs piping and tubing systems that are to conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures

  • Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment

  • Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 Years Verifiable Experience Preferred

  • Experience in working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions

  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn

  • Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

CALIFICACIONES

  • 3-5 años de experiencia verificable preferida

  • Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de tuberías y accesorios; Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construcción para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria

  • Se requiere estar estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos
