RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking a full-time Imaging professional with Radiology and CT experience to join our rural healthcare facility. As an affiliate of The Queen's Health Systems, Molokai General Hospital offers excellent benefits, a well-equipped hospital setting and the opportunity to continue the legacy of our founders in providing, in perpetuity, quality healthcare services to Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawaii.
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to the Senior Radiologic Technologist.

Performs a variety of Radiologic and CT procedures.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-
Essential: Seeing, hearing, speaking, standing, walking, finger dexterity, lifting weight up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling weight up to 250 pounds, carrying weight up to 50 pounds.

Continuous: Seeing, hearing, speaking, stooping/bending, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, frequent gripping of an object, pushing/pulling weight up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods of time.

Operates X-ray, CT, DEXA, and Mammography QA/QC.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold (temperature and duration), noise and/or vibration, hazardous physical conditions, and atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or skin.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

Current Hawaii State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology to be able to communicate effectively with medical staff.

Current BLS/HCP certification.
B. EXPERIENCE:
- One-year experience as a Radiologic CT Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
