Full job description

Waste Connections is currently seeking a general Laborer Helper to join the team at Post Oak Landfill in Luling, TX . This is an entry level position with room for growth. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus , but willing to train the right candidate.

The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working usually 50-55 hours a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

-Cleaning up debris, general grounds keeping

-Running a mower

-Operating the water truck, Fuel Truck, and Sweeper

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • ​Reliable Transportation

  • Ability to be self directed as well as work in a team environment

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
