Full job description
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aProduction Assemblerto join a leading Company located in theNorth Canton, OHsurrounding area.

1st Shift (Monday-Friday):6:00 AM - 2:30 PM |$18.00/hr
-
2nd Shift (Monday-Friday):2:00 PM - 10:00 PM |$19.00/hr
-
1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4/10 schedule):6:00 AM - 4:30 PM |$18.00/hr
Perform a variety of learned routines and highly repetitive production operations.
Responsibilities :
-
Perform a simple machine set-up.
-
Assemble materials from individual components using detailed written or verbal instructions.
-
May perform simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
-
Use a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
-
Inspect/test work for quality, resolve simple problems, recognize errors, and correct or seek assistance.
-
Ensure the acceptable housekeeping practices are followed.
-
Understand and follow applicable company practices, policies, and procedures.
-
Follow all established safety regulations.
-
Read and understand technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine the sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.

Clean, prepare, and stage job materials for production according to procedure.
-
Inspect the final product to ensure all specifications are met.
-
Schedule maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Prior production experience.
-
Cabling, harnessing, PCB Repair, SMT.
-
Reading and math skills.
-
Basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
-
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, process documents, and other visual aids.
-
Able to resolve simple problems.
-
Able to perform work in a quality and timely manner.
-
Strong attention to detail.
-
General knowledge of screening, making equipment, and techniques.

Basic knowledge of printing materials.

Able to precisely measure.
