Full job description
General Maintenance Technicians keep Walmart facilities safe, efficient, and ready by doing hands on repairs and preventive maintenance. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and food equipment systems, using your skills and judgment to solve issues independently across assigned locations.

General Facility Maintenance Technician:

1–3 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or commercial facilities maintenance for technician role.

Skilled at diagnosing issues, troubleshooting systems, and completing repairs independently
-
Comfortable working with electrical panels, plumbing systems, motors, controls, and mechanical equipment
-
Takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time

Able to read schematics, follow preventive maintenance schedules, and document completed work

Have a driver’s license or willing to get one, plus required certifications Food Equipment Maintenance Technician:
-
1 - 3+ years of experience in commercial food service equipment repair with Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers, and grease/oil systems.

Skilled at diagnosing issues, troubleshooting systems, and completing repairs independently

Comfortable working with electrical panels, plumbing systems, motors, controls, and mechanical equipment

Takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time

Able to read schematics, follow preventive maintenance schedules, and document completed work

Have a driver’s license or willing to get one, plus required certifications Schedule
Monday to Friday Some nights and weekend work will be required based on business needs
