Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead

Warehouse Team Lead (Hands-On) - Day Shift

Pay: $26.00/hour

Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM Start

Job Summary

Humano, a leading third-party warehouse provider, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working alongside their team while providing guidance and support throughout the shift.

This is primarily a working lead position, with the majority of the day spent performing physical warehouse duties, including unloading freight. Leadership responsibilities typically account for approximately one hour per shift, which includes supporting one warehouse associate, communicating with management, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual warehouse work, including unloading freight and other general warehouse tasks.

  • Work alongside the team while setting the pace for productivity and safety.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to one warehouse associate.

  • Communicate with warehouse management regarding daily operations, productivity, and any issues that arise.

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  • Ensure company safety procedures and operational standards are followed.

  • Assist with training new employees as needed.

  • Support process improvements and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Physical Requirements

This is a highly physical position requiring candidates to:

  • Perform manual unloading for the majority of the shift.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Bend, squat, twist, reach, and work on your feet for extended periods.

  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity expectations.

Applicants should be comfortable performing physical labor throughout their shift.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of warehouse leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.

  • Experience unloading trailers or performing manual warehouse labor strongly preferred.

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to lead by example.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus but not required.
