Senior Team Counselor: Resource Focus - ACCS

ACCS Integrated Teams provide clinical interventions and peer and family support to facilitate engagement, support functioning and maximize symptom stabilization and self-management of individuals and to assist individuals in developing skills, establishing natural supports and resources to live successfully in the community.

The Senior Integrated Team Counselor will work as a member of a Persons’ Team having primary responsibility in delivering interventions identified in the treatment plan with clinical guidance from the Integrated Team clinical staff. This position will have a specialty role in at least one area of expertise which may include: building new relationships with community resources, research and connection with various benefits and resources, employment and education, or representative payee.

The Senior Team Counselor will also be responsible for:

  • Provide input to person-centered assessment and service planning, and advocacy, coordination, and linkage with other services and the community.

  • Model and teach skills for development of positive relationships, and negotiation of conflict.

  • Assist persons served in understanding, managing, and dispensing medications consistent with MAP and agency policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular daily, monthly, and annual clinical records in keeping with DMH, agency, and division policies and procedures, and within required timelines.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

  • Tuesday - Saturday

Pay Rate: $22.67/hourly
