Lynn, MA, USA | Consumer Services | Hourly | 42.00-45.00 per hour | Per Diem

Join the GLSS Team and make a difference every day! GLSS is looking for talented and caring individuals to join our team.

Position Overview: The Occupational Therapist (OT) will conduct on-site assessments for consumers according to the Mass Health clinical regulations.

Position Responsibilities: The OT will consider both the physical and the cognitive condition of the consumer and develop treatment plans according to the consumer's specific needs. The OT will communicate progress with the PCP as well as multidisciplinary GLSS staff.

Qualifications:

  • Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of community-based or long-term care direct service experience required.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with team members, consumers and their support systems, providers and business partners.

  • Ability to work independently as well as with a multidisciplinary team.

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and documentation with discretion and according to GLSS policy and HIPAA regulations.

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to consistently meet responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Must possess excellent clinical assessment skills with the ability to clearly and accurately document information such that required timelines are met.

  • Ability to work in multicultural environments with consumers and their family members who have diverse health and behavioral health needs.

  • Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to conduct home visits throughout the GLSS service area.

  • Strong computer skills that allow for the effective use of various computer programs and databases required to perform the job.

  • CPR certified or the ability to obtain certification.

Hours: Per Diem, up to 10 hours. Hybrid, with In-office and out in the community

Page Range: $42 - $45 hourly
