Buffet Line Attendant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Responsible for preparing salads, dressings, canapés, and other cold dishes.

Responsible for maintaining the buffet line fully stocked and presentable at all times.

Responsible for knowing what ingredients are used in the dishes in order to communicate information to guests.

Communicate with cooks any comments that are being heard.

Follows all recipes and control procedures.

Performs as a team member with Line Cooks, Dishwashers, Supervisors, Chefs, Servers, Utilities, and pertinent company Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation on a scheduled shift.

Ability to carve meats and prepare desserts as needed.

Responsible for always maintaining a clean and sanitary area in full accordance with State Health Regulations.

All other duties assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred. No food service experience needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The Associate regularly works around mechanical moving parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
