Full job description
Medical Assistant Ward/CSU
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for MAs to partner with us in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This will be a deployed, rotational contract offering various rotational deployment cycles.
The team will be based in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility in Port au Prince, Haiti, and all service delivery requirements will be conducted within the confines of that facility.
Aspen Medical will provide a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and other ancillary services.
Qualification Requirements

No less than three months of paramedic training

A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible practical experience in CPR or basic life support is required

Must have advanced trauma life support training or equivalent training certificate within 12 months prior to deployment
Language Proficiency:
- English proficiency-a minimum of Level B 2 is required
