Job Summary Brigham and Women’s Harbor Medical Associates in South Weymouth is located at 541 Main Street, South Weymouth, 02190. This location has multiple specialties including Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pathology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine.

We do our best to keep all employees in their assigned departments; however, you may also be asked to float to other South Shore departments during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes).

We are seeking a Full-time, 40-hour Clinic/Practice Assistant to support our Endocrinology Suite onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 am- 5:00pm.

Dedicated to administrative support, Clinic/Practice Assistants serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience that exceeds our patients' expectations. Responsibilities include check in, check out, patient scheduling, collecting balance due and co-payments, completing tasks in Epic in basket and work queues and serving as the first point of contact for patient appointments.

Qualifications

We are looking for well-rounded customer service professionals who can multi-task, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume outpatient setting! Whether you are seeking to gain more experience in the healthcare industry or a proven healthcare professional seeking a new challenge, the Practice Assistant role is the opportunity for you.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience

Preferred:

  • Prior medical office experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree
