Summary:
The EHS Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs and systems. This role helps ensure regulatory compliance, fosters a culture of safety, and assists in driving continuous improvement in EHS performance. The EHS Specialist conducts inspections, facilitates training, supports investigations, and maintains documentation.
Responsibilities:

Support site compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations through inspections, audits, and follow-ups.

Assist with risk assessments and implementation of corrective actions.

Maintain and organize safety data sheets, permits, and training records.

Deliver EHS training sessions for new hires and recurring training as required.

Participate in incident investigations and help prepare reports and documentation.

Support sustainability initiatives, such as recycling and energy conservation and assist with data collection and reporting.

Collaborate with facility, distribution, and operations teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.

Participate in internal and external audits and help close findings.

Assist in preparing EHS performance metrics and dashboards.

Promote employee engagement in safety programs and continuous improvement.

Assist with PO generation and support EHS accounts payable.
Qualifications:
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.

2–4 years in an EHS-related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR, or similar (preferred).

Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, familiarity with EHS software/tools, and ability to work independently.
Pay Range:
Anticipated Base Salary Range $59,700.00 to $86,450.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, The Estée Lauder Companies offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage (medical, dental, and vision insurance), wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
You may be eligible to participate in the applicable Commission/Bonus Plan, under the plan guidelines in effect at the time of hire. Additional details regarding the commission plan will be provided as part of your onboarding.
