City/State Lorton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Family Medicine Physicians is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy and Lab Services in Lorton, VA!
Up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Candidates
Job Summary
- 95% lap support
- Full-time / 40 hours a week
- Monday through Friday
- Shift Time: 8am to 4:30pm
- No float required
- Onsite at Lorton practice
Overview The Certified Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy and Lab Services performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience
- Less than a year of related experience required
- Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
Education
- High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Active Certification Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Registered Medical Assistant
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
