Job Summary:

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of items, optimize inventory levels across multiple distribution centers, and help achieve on-time delivery goals.

  • Create purchase orders and work orders to support distribution plans and meet customer requirements, while working directly with suppliers to confirm availability and delivery schedules.

  • Review site-level demand forecasts using SKU data and analytics to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate system data, including bills of material, purchase costs, lead times, and related planning information.

  • Resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and coordinate the disposition of nonconforming materials.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in materials planning, procurement, or demand planning.

  • At least 3 years of experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a distribution environment.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

  • Associate degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of materials planning and inventory management.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing situations, and work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
