Marshall County Healthcare Center Avera is seeking applicants to join our team!

Position Highlights

Collects blood samples. Identifies samples which are incorrectly collected or processed. Processes and stores samples. Performs all of the repetitive (high volume) tests in the laboratory. Recognizes a problem, identifies the cause, (technical, instrumental, or physiological) uses alternatives and determines solutions where no pre-set criteria are available. Confirms and verifies results through a knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Correlates and interprets data based on knowledge of physical conditions affecting test results. Establishes and monitors quality assurance programs. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
