Why Join Our Team?
For over 30 years, the Princeton Center for Eating Disorders has provided specialized inpatient care for patients with eating disorders aged 8 and older. Our 22-bed unit delivers compassionate and comprehensive medical stabilization and therapeutic support with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, dietitians, and nurses. Robust clinical programming includes both individual and group therapy offered daily Monday through Friday.
Schedule Requirements:
- As needed, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Group Therapy Facilitation. Facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions (e.g., CBT, DBT, or ACT) and supportive process-oriented groups for adolescents and adult patients.

Individual Patient Care. Conduct therapeutic check-ins and brief individual supportive interventions as clinically indicated.

Meal Support. Provide active therapeutic meal support in the dining room, modeling healthy eating behaviors and assisting patients with distress management

Clinical Documentation & Communication. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation for all group sessions and individual patient contact. Communicate relevant clinical observations with members of the multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, registered dietitians, primary therapists, and nursing staff) to ensure continuity of care.
What We Require for this Role:
Education
- Master’s degree in social sciences required.
Related Work Experience
- Previous experience in treating eating disorders required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
- New Jersey license or license eligibility required.

Salary Range:
$30.96 - $49.36/Hourly
