Role Summary

As a Teacher Assistant, you support the preschool classroom teacher so children have a safe, consistent learning environment. This role exists to help keep daily instruction organized, children engaged, and classroom routines running smoothly.Key responsibilities include assisting with classroom activities, preparing materials, supporting children during transitions, maintaining a clean and orderly space, and following program and safety guidelines. You will communicate observations to the lead teacher and work as part of the onsite team.Qualifications/skills:- Prior experience working with young children preferred- Reliable attendance and steady follow-through- Clear communication and teamwork skills- Patience, good judgment, and ability to stay calm in a busy settingPay: $16.00/hr. A Typical Day

You’ll arrive onsite, get the room set for the morning, and touch base with the lead teacher on the plan for the day. The pace stays active—children arrive, routines begin, and you stay present on the floor to keep things moving. You’ll spend time guiding kids through play and learning centers, helping with meals and rest time, and keeping supplies ready as the schedule changes. Throughout the day, you’ll share quick updates with the teacher, reset the space between activities, and wrap up by organizing materials for the next morning.
