Position Description & Qualifications

As the International Security Specialist - Senior, you will provide experienced international security support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. You will leverage your security expertise, sound judgment, and ability to coordinate across complex stakeholder groups to support international security execution and mission success.

This position supports mission-critical security operations by coordinating with government and contractor personnel, maintaining security documentation, supporting leadership reporting requirements, and helping ensure compliance with customer security requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in Department of Defense security environments, and capable of managing multiple priorities while operating in a dynamic and secure setting.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Provide experienced support for international security processes, documentation, coordination, and issue resolution.

  • Review and maintain international security records, correspondence, briefings, trackers, and supporting materials.

  • Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to manage actions, resolve issues, and support recurring reporting.

  • Support meetings, working groups, data calls, and leadership updates related to international security activities.

  • Help ensure documentation and deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer requirements.

  • Provide guidance to team members on security support processes, documentation standards, and action tracking.

  • Assist with preparation of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, and other security-related documentation supporting customer objectives.

  • Support administrative processes and document management activities within secure environments.

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree plus an additional 14 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education requirements.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting international security, facility security, program security, or related Department of Defense security functions.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.

  • Active Top Secret Clearance preferred.

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance utilized within the last two years preferred.

  • Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility preferred.

  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with government and contractor stakeholders while managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a highly secure environment.

  • Ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting administrative processes and document management in a secure facility.

  • Prior experience working in a secure facility environment.

  • Prior experience working in a security countermeasure environment.

  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, leadership updates, and tracking spreadsheets.

  • Ability to work effectively with government and contractor personnel.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information and documentation.

Additional Information

  • This position is performed on site in Arlington, Virginia.

  • Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
