Full job description
This position is located at Anniston, Alabama. Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages. Ability to work without more than normal supervision. Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of basic sanitation principles. Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment. Able to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach. Skills and Knowledge: Must have skill and knowledge to perform tasks involving several procedures and be able to concentrate on work assignments despite interruptions and distractions. A working knowledge of sanitation standards is required as well as knowledge of procedures to prevent contamination. Must know basic food handling techniques, personal hygiene standards and safe work procedures. Must have the ability to read and understand written material. Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to apportion, weigh, and measure foods properly and to use electrical appliances, grills, stoves, ovens, and other common kitchen equipment and utensils. Ability to operate a cash register, run a snack bar and drive a food cart. Experience MUST be clearly reflected on your Resume at the time of application to be considered. Prepares and/or slices a variety of fast-food items including but not limited to hamburgers, hot dogs, fish, chicken, pizzas, French fries, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. Removes perishable food from the cooler/freezer for daily activities. Assures tables/work surfaces are promptly cleared and cleaned. Cleans other work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas. Accepts food orders from patrons. Serves as cashier, receiving payment by cash or credit/debit card. Completes cash report at the end of assigned shift. Spot checks the guest checks to ensure information recorded is correct Follows all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules. May work on a mobile eating cart driving around to deliver food and drinks to patrons. May be required to order food items, condiments, and other supplies. Performs other duties as assigned.
