Company Overview

A consumer organization is seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead software development initiatives and support the continued evolution of business-critical technology platforms.

Role Summary

The Engineering Director will provide technical leadership, team mentorship, and strategic direction across software development initiatives. This role will partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve engineering processes, and support long-term technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams.

• Establish technical standards, development practices, and delivery processes.

• Oversee the design, development, and support of business applications and technology platforms.

• Partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver technology solutions.

• Support system reliability, performance, security, and ongoing improvements.

• Manage technical risks, project delivery, and resource planning.

• Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and team effectiveness.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams and technical initiatives.

• Strong software development and solution delivery background.

• Experience managing complex applications, platforms, or enterprise systems.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Demonstrated success mentoring engineers and leading technical teams.

• Ability to balance strategic planning with execution and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience leading multiple engineering teams or functions.

• Experience supporting customer-facing or enterprise technology platforms.

• Knowledge of modern software development and cloud technologies.

• Experience in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.

Compensation & Benefits

• $200,000 - $240,000 with discretionary bonus
