Job Summary:
HCA FL Northwest Hospital is seeking a FT Assistant Chief, Emergency Medicine Physician to become part of our prestigious practice in Margate, FL (Ft Lauderdale suburb).
Description of ED:
-
consists of 55 beds
-
Approx. 60K annual visits
-
50 hours of physician coverage
-
12 hours of Advanced Practice Providers
-
Approximately 2.2 patients per hour
-
GME accredited EM Residency, since 2022
-
Admission rate approximately 35%
-
EMR: Meditech and Pdoc
-
24 hour in house hospitalists
-
24 hour in house intensivists
-
No floor code or consult responsibilities
-
Interventional cardiac catheterization facility
Incentives:
-
Independent Contractor (1099) site
-
Occurrence Based Malpractice covered 100%
Qualified candidates:
Must be ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Eligible.
