The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.
$21.75 - $31.25

A Brief Overview
The Maintenance Technician is accountable for performing a variety of general, mechanical and preventative maintenance duties as well as inspections, repairing and moving of equipment throughout assigned facilities.
What you will do
-
Consults with and keeps supervisor informed on progress and any problems with assigned projects.

Maintains all required records and pertinent information.

Has knowledge of trends, standards, and legalities of practice and activities of department and facilities.

Demonstrates ability to perform and finish carpentry work.
-
Demonstrates ability to install sheetrock, plaster, metal studs (building materials) and perform culking.
-
Demonstrates ability to install locks and other door and cabinet hardware.
-
Demonstrates ability to assemble and install basic cabinetry and interpret drawings.
-
Operates and maintains boilers and takes appropriate action for safe operation.
Essential Qualifications
The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

High School or GED Equivalent

Driver's License (MN) - Minnesota Department of Public Safety Upon Hire

Boiler Operator - Licensing Board within 180 Days

1-3 years experience in a related field.
