Full job description
About nOps
nOps is the leading FinOps platform for AWS, Azure, and GCP, helping engineering and finance teams gain real-time cloud cost visibility and achieve autonomous optimization. Our mission is to make cloud cost management effortless, enabling teams to scale innovation without waste. We partner closely with the major hyperscalers and our customers to continuously improve how organizations optimize, manage, and invest in their cloud environments.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive with a proven FinOps and cloud cost optimization background to join our growing team. This person is a true hunter with a strong track record of landing net new logos and owning the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to deal close. Because our buyer is technical and highly informed on cloud economics, this role requires someone who can speak fluently about cloud spend, commitments, and optimization strategies from day one, while working closely with marketing, solutions engineering, and partnerships to deliver measurable business outcomes for our customers.
What You'll Do
-
Own your territory strategy. From a list of core accounts, determine a plan to prioritize the highest potential companies and access key decision makers in the sales process, in concert with hyperscaler and channel partners.
-
Drive net new logo acquisition through a mix of inbound follow-up, outbound prospecting, and channel collaboration (hyperscalers, MSPs, and consulting partners).
-
Lead consultative conversations with FinOps, engineering, and finance leaders, helping customers understand both the visibility and automation value of nOps.
-
Translate technical cloud cost concepts (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, commitment management, workload optimization) into clear business value for CFOs, CTOs, and VPs of Engineering.
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure a seamless prospect and customer experience.
-
Forecast and manage pipeline in the CRM, providing accurate visibility into monthly and quarterly performance.
-
Participate in key customer events, driving attendance with the appropriate personas and ensuring consistent follow up post-event.
-
Champion the voice of the customer, helping influence product development and go-to-market strategy.
What You'll Bring
-
8 to 15 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
-
A strong FinOps or cloud cost optimization background is required. You have sold, worked in, or consulted on FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud infrastructure optimization, and can speak the language of your buyers with credibility.
-
True hunter mentality with a proven net new logo track record. You know how to build pipeline from scratch, break into greenfield accounts, and close complex enterprise deals without relying on inbound alone.
-
Deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including how enterprises consume, optimize, and manage cloud spend at scale.
-
Strong consultative and solution-selling skills, with proven success in fast-growth or early-stage environments.
-
Ability to communicate complex technical and financial value propositions clearly to executives, engineers, and procurement teams.
-
Comfortable working remote-first and asynchronously across time zones.
Why nOps
-
Join a fast-growing company at the center of innovation in the FinOps space.
-
Partner with some of the fastest-scaling cloud customers globally.
-
Competitive compensation and opportunity to grow professionally.
-
Remote-friendly team with a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
