Director of Finance – Global Operations

Permobil has a position open for a Director of Finance – Global Operations

  • Pay Range: $160,000.00 to $180,000.00

  • Full Time

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • Location: Lebanon, TN

Your Role in Our Mission

  • Partner with COO to develop financial plans, forecasts, and performance targets

  • Assist with preparation of monthly business review reports for Global Operations

  • Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes for Operations

  • Provide FP&A support to Operations for S&OP lifecycle including coordination with plant controllers to develop and maintain capacity forecasts

  • Understand drivers/actions beyond the numbers, provide insight and make recommendations for actions to management and other stakeholders with clear objective to continuously improve financial performance

  • Help improve decision making by creating a culture of P&L ownership and cost follow up in Operations and help production leaders understand financial performance for theirfacilities

  • Give Operations leaders a clear understanding of cost base and help drive cost management initiatives

  • Work closely with Operations leaders and their staff to drive performance and monitoring of KPI’s including building dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility

  • Assist Operations in developing and maintaining standard costing models

  • Work with Group Finance to develop and maintain Production Unit P&Ls

  • Prepare monthly management reporting packages and executive-level financial presentations

  • Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to automate reporting and improve decision-making processes

  • Monitor actual results versus forecast and budget; provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions

  • Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation across FP&A activities

  • Support ad-hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic projects as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field required

  • MBA preferred

  • Knowledge Required

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing activities, standard costing, variance / absorption, cycle times, value-stream mapping, capacity planning, OOE / OEE, etc.

  • Experience with Power BI for dashboard development, reporting automation, and data visualization or other data analytics, business intelligence or planning tools

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skillsExperience coordinating capacity planning and cross-functional forecasting processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
