Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

Operate machines by loading bar stock and unloading parts from the machine.
-
Perform machine adjustments to achieve the correct dimensions, finishes and quality.
-
Troubleshoot tooling issues on the machine as needed.
-
Effectively preset tooling prior to placing into machine.
-
Perform any necessary machine adjustments or repairs in a safe manner.
-
Identify when tooling needs replaced and change tooling effectively.
-
Understand and follow work instructions, set-up sheets, routers, inspection plans and be able to properly set-up machines per customer requirements.

Effectively gauge and measure parts produced
-
5S work area on a daily basis.
-
Assist other departments with projects as needed.
-
Perform other job duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education/Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
-
Familiarity with micrometers and other measuring devices.

Knowledge of G code preferred

Understand and complies with ISO procedures

Ability to read routers and blueprint drawings

Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Physical Requirements:

Moderate physical effort consisting of:

Frequently lifting or moving material up to 35 pounds.
