About the team

Resolve helps B2B merchants automate their net terms and accounts receivable, so they can increase sales, reduce non-payment, and minimize risk across their customer portfolio. We’ve processed hundreds of millions of dollars for thousands of businesses.

We’re a team of product-oriented engineers who partner closely with our customers & internal cross-functional teams (design, product & ops) to solve challenging business problems. We believe in leading with “ context - not control ”. Past projects have included building payment & banking rails that process millions of dollars, ERP and E-commerce integrations e.g. (Netsuite, Shopify, QuickBooks), developing new risk underwriting models & technologies, and exploring how AI can save our users time.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a seasoned technical leader who’s excited to solve business problems with your technical expertise.

  • Own problems end-to-end from engaging directly with cross-functional stakeholders to thinking through everything from business impact, speed vs scope tradeoffs, reliability and operability, to ensuring “post-release success”.

  • Scope and lead large technical projects with enormous impact across the company

  • Advise Resolve leadership on key technology and product roadmap considerations

  • Participate in strategic planning and contribute to decision-making processes

  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

  • Build a culture of technical excellence

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer

  • Comfortable being truly full-stack with hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development

  • Outcomes driven. You see the value in setting clear objectives, planning strategically, focusing on the impact of what you’ve built, and adapting to any changes that may be required.

  • Enjoy bringing projects from 0 to 1

  • Decisive and thoughtful with your actions

  • A strong sense of ownership. You take pride in what you build, and you hold yourself accountable for the quality of your contributions.

  • Ability to communicate your ideas and approach to solving problems with clarity

  • Ability to work well cross-functionally and earn trust from co-workers at all levels

  • Leads by example and has experience mentoring and growing senior engineers as their technical leader

Bonus points

  • Experience in fintech or financial services

  • Experience in startups

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, and draw actionable insights from large datasets using data analysis tools and techniques

  • NodeJS, React and SQL experience
