VCA Animal Care Clinic is adding to our team another Veterinary Assistant !
Location : 3340 K San Pablo Dam Rd., San Pablo, Ca.
Compensation : $ 22 - $ 38 / hr
Schedule : Relief/Part Time
THE POSITION:
We want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Duties include, but not limited to:

Providequality patient carewhile maintaining a Fear Free © approach

Patient restraint during examinations, injections, treatments, induction etc.

Maintain hospital cleanliness and building upkeep
-
Prioritize tasks and change when needed
-
Surgical instrument cleaning/packing and surgical suite prep and clean
-
Stocking exam rooms, treatment areas, and ORs
-
Processlaboratory samples
-
Run in hospital blood work panels
-
Assist Veterinarians and Technicians with tasks

Keep accurate records and logs
