Full job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pulmonologist, you will join our established practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our practice.

Every day you will provide expert clinical care in pulmonary medicine. You will deliver expert evaluation and management of complex respiratory conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Pulmonologist Physician with a passion for helping patients, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care within a busy community-focused practice.

  • Employed position with Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, a member of CommonSpirit Health

  • Role involves providing comprehensive evaluation and management of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and other complex pulmonary disorders.

  • Interpret pulmonary diagnostics, including PFTs and imaging.

We are offering a competitive base salary that includes guaranteed base salary, production and quality incentives, CME allowance, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, as well as 30 days off including time for sick leave, PTO and CME. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401k with match.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to employment

  • Completion of ACGME Residency program

  • American Board Certification and active BLS

Pay Range

$311,791 - $522,226 /year
