Local Pay: $41/hour

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

  • Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.

  • Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and the proper use of assistive devices.

  • Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and promptly.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.

  • Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment and equipment.

  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals.

  • Follow all facility policies and applicable regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Minimum of 2 yearsof recent experience as a Physical therapist Assistant.

  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
