Kedrion Biopharma, a global leader in plasma-derived therapies, is seeking an experienced and strategic Global Market Access Lead to drive U.S. market access initiatives while shaping and aligning global access strategies across our portfolio and pipeline. In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner closely with clinical development, medical affairs, regulatory, commercial, and marketing teams to communicate the value of Kedrion’s therapies, secure optimal reimbursement outcomes, and expand patient access worldwide. You will serve as a key strategic leader engaging with payers, PBMs, government agencies, HTA organizations, and other healthcare stakeholders to support market growth, launch success, and long-term business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of U.S.-focused market access strategies while ensuring alignment across global pipeline and marketed products.

  • Develop compelling payer value propositions and evidence strategies that support coverage, reimbursement, and access objectives across major markets.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with public and private payers, PBMs, insurers, policymakers, patient advocacy organizations, HTA agencies, and reimbursement authorities.

  • Lead payer engagement, contracting, and negotiation strategies to secure favorable formulary positioning, reimbursement, coverage decisions, and patient access while supporting commercial growth.

  • Lead the development and optimization of payer contracts, rebate strategies, reimbursement agreements, and gross-to-net considerations to maximize market access, profitability, and patient access.

  • Drive access-related launch readiness activities, including pre-launch payer engagement, pricing support, value communications, and geographic expansion strategies.

  • Provide strategic market access input to clinical development programs to ensure evidence generation aligns with payer and HTA requirements.

  • Lead HEOR and Real-World Evidence initiatives, including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact models, systematic reviews, and outcomes research, while driving the publication and dissemination of evidence supporting payer value and market access objectives.

  • Monitor payer, HTA, reimbursement, competitor, and healthcare policy trends, translating insights into strategic recommendations that inform portfolio, launch, and business decisions.

  • Lead or support HTA submissions, including EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) and other major global access reviews.

  • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and regional teams to align global strategies with local execution.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global Market Access function while serving as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Master’s, PhD, PharmD, MPH, or MBA).

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive market access leadership experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Significant U.S. market access experience supporting innovative therapies, rare diseases, specialty biologics, plasma-derived products, or infused therapies.

  • Strong knowledge of global payer systems and HTA processes across key international markets.

  • Deep expertise in U.S. payer systems, reimbursement pathways, healthcare policy, pricing, contracting, rebate management, and market access dynamics.

  • Proven experience developing payer value propositions, evidence strategies, and market access plans that support successful reimbursement and coverage outcomes.

  • Experience leading or supporting payer contracting, rebate strategy development, access agreements, pricing evaluations, and reimbursement negotiations with commercial and government payers.

  • Experience with HTA submissions, including EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) or similar processes, preferred.

  • Demonstrated success engaging external stakeholders, including payers, PBMs, HTA bodies, reimbursement agencies, and health authorities.

  • Experience in rare diseases, hematology, immunology, or neurology preferred.
