Salary Range: $11.75 To $11.75 Hourly
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direct supervision of Store Manager or designee, is responsible for customer service, facility security and maintenance, greeting and assisting donors, breakdown of donations and the maintenance of accurate donor records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures 100% donor and customer delight.

Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; assist to unload donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts, maintain accurate daily counts of donations.

Breaks-down donations into categories.

Maintains drive-through and work area in a clean and organized manner.

Transports trash to compactor/dumpster and operate compactor as needed.
-
Adheres to all retail and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries store management.

Responsible for performing assigned duties:
-
Provide excellent customer service to all of our customers.

Keep all work areas clean, neat, and organized.
-
Greet donors in 10 seconds.
-
All donations should be processed within 24 hours.
-
If you have a pile, you have a problem.
-
Hard goods should be priority processed.
-
May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.

Attends in-service and related training as assigned by management.
-
Performs other duties as assigned by store management.

Accomplishes retail and organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

HS diploma/GED or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Possess good eyesight and color definition.

Ability to hear sounds and verbal instructions in a nosey environment.

Good interpersonal communication skills.
-
Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate routing.
-
Functional reading and writing skills.
-
Ability to work a flexible schedule determined by store needs; typical retail hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
