What you'll do...

Position summary As a Manager II, Quality Engineer in Walmart Supply Chain, you’ll lead quality-focused process improvement inside a Distribution Center using Walmart Performance System (WPS) methods. You’ll identify and eliminate quality losses, reduce process variation, and strengthen One Best Way execution through data-driven problem solving and standard work. This role blends project leadership with people leadership to deliver measurable KPI improvements. About Supply Chain Supply Chain enables Walmart to serve customers by moving product through our Distribution Centers with speed, accuracy, and consistency. The team uses WPS to surface losses, standardize best practices, and sustain improvements through disciplined operating rhythms. This role impacts network performance by improving quality outcomes in a functional area and building capability in leaders and associates to sustain results. What you’ll do

  • Lead WPS tools (5S, RCA, Six Sigma, time/motion) to eliminate quality losses and deviations

  • Compile and submit One Best Way playbook deviations; contribute to divisional replication opportunities

  • Build quality loss profiles, KPI metrics, and gap analyses to guide priorities and WPS integration

  • Deliver results through loss elimination and standard work that reduces process variation

  • Hire, train, and mentor associates while supporting department leaders on WPS programs and projects

What you’ll bring

  • Experience applying quality/process improvement methods (RCA, 5S, Six Sigma, time & motion) in operations

  • Strength in KPI analysis, loss profiling, and translating insights into sustained process changes

  • Experience creating and deploying standard work and addressing deviations from playbooks/procedures

  • Proven project execution and stakeholder management across shifting operational priorities

  • People leadership experience (hiring, coaching, recognition) with a focus on capability-building

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $156,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

Minimum Qualifications...
