Full job description

Mergers & Acquisitions Bangalore, India (in-office) About Nurix AI At Nurix AI, we envision a world powered by super-intelligent AI agents that transform how businesses engage with customers. Our AI systems do more than just solve problems — they create opportunities. From suggesting next purchases and boosting revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction, to analyzing vast datasets for actionable insights, our technologies help shape business and product strategies. Nurix.ai is at the forefront of applied AI innovation, building cutting-edge AI and LLM solutions that enhance productivity and automation. Backed by $27.5M in funding, we are developing next-generation AI-driven applications that redefine human–machine collaboration. We are pioneering the AI revolution as one of the first scaled AI-native services companies from India, delivering powerful AI solutions to enterprises globally. Join us in building the future, where every interaction is smarter, faster, and more impactful. Role Overview We are looking for someone to join our Strategy and M&A team at Nurix - owning the full deal acquisition lifecycle including outreach, diligence, execution and integration, while also leading high-impact strategic projects for the company. This will involve working closely with the Founder & leadership team, external partners, legal, and finance. This is a strong fit for someone who can independently form a financial, business, and commercial POV and own ambiguous, high-stakes work end-to-end. Key responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate prospective target companies in the technology sector
  • Lead evaluation across commercial, operational, and strategic dimensions, and independently form a point-of-view; build financial models and valuation frameworks to enable decision making
  • Partner with investment bankers, legal counsels and tax advisors for identifying potential companies, structuring deals and contracts
  • Drive acquisitions through to close, coordinating all internal and external stakeholders
  • Own or co-own post-acquisition integration and partner with companies to help unlock synergies
  • Partner with leadership on other high-impact strategic initiatives including GTM, partnerships, market/competitive research, product etc. What we are looking for
  • Strong M&A experience e.g., identification, diligence, execution
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institution and/or experience at a top-tier consulting firm, M&A team in a corporate or large startup
  • Ability to independently develop and articulate a point of view from a financial, business, and commercial perspective
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and target-company stakeholders, and comfort working closely with legal and finance
  • High ownership and bias for action, with comfort operating in ambiguity, strong communication skills
  • Comfort using AI for solving problems / building (you need not be an engineer) We might not be the right match, if:
  • You thrive only in structured and predictable environments
  • You prefer advising rather than owning things end-to-end
  • You haven't adopted AI ways of working If this sounds exciting, we can't wait to talk to you and discuss this further! Why Join Us?
  • Opportunity to work in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem
  • Work directly with founder and leadership team on company-defining initiatives
  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • A company culture that values diversity, innovation, and work-life balance
