Full job description
Teacher - Electrical Systems
Duties: Deliver hands-on and classroom instruction in mechatronics concepts, including automation, robotics, electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic controller (PLC) systems, to prepare students for successful completion of the MVCC Mechatronics Certificate program and entry into advanced manufacturing careers.
Qualifications: New York State Certification in Vocational-Technical Education or eligibility for transitional certification along with an Associate degree with relevant experience required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Location of Position: MVCC Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave, Rome, New York
Term of Employment: Full- time, 10 month position
Salary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teacher’s Contract.
Starting Date: September 1, 2026
