Description:
The Beverage Manager oversees our Paniolo Bar, as well as all aspects of beverage service across outlets, including bars, lounges, restaurants, and events.. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, coaching and developing all bartenders as well as all Paniolo Bar colleagues. Managing with passion, and personal style, the Beverage Manager is responsible to keep our premier mixology concepts on the map while observing and taking action based on relevant demand and market trends.
Duties:

Planning, managing and executing F&B operations in Paniolo Bar and beverage operations across outlets, including bars, lounges, restaurants, and events.

Collaborating on music and entertainment programming for Paniolo Bar

Develop and recommend activations, concepts and objectives

Implement and maintain food & beverage sales and marketing programs
-
Direct and oversee development of all bartenders as well as all Paniolo Bar colleagues
-
Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel of team and review performance.

Weekly processing of department schedule and payroll.
-
Ensure beverage department is achieving and/or exceeding financial performance & reports.

Perform monthly inventories of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies, implement and maintain controls for accurate inventory accountability.

Resolve customer opportunities as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality

Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction to create an inclusive environment in which diversity is welcomed.

Ensure quality control for both food and beverage

Ensure that all safety and sanitation standards are adhered to at all times.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.

Qualifications:

Valid Maui County Liquor Certification card

Valid Driver's LIcense

Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment

Understanding of modern mixology techniques

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people

2 or more years of progressive F&B management experience

Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

Clear concise written and verbal communication skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Experience in implementing new food & beverage concepts

Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays
