Weekend Warrior Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Night Shift

$10,000 Sign on Bonus

Weekend Warrior Program | 12-Hour Night Shifts

Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Scarlet Oaks Care Center – Cincinnati, OH

Scarlet Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our Weekend Warrior Night Shift Team. This opportunity is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional respiratory care and thrives in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Position Overview

As a Weekend Warrior Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care and clinical support to residents during weekend overnight shifts. Working closely with nursing leadership, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting resident health, comfort, and quality outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Weekend Warrior Program

  • 12-Hour Night Shifts

  • Every Friday Night, Saturday Night, and Sunday Night (or designated weekend schedule)

  • Opportunity for additional shifts available

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians

  • Perform trach care, suctioning, oxygen management, and airway support

  • Monitor respiratory equipment and ensure proper functionality

  • Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to develop and implement care plans

  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses

  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide clinical support during overnight hours

  • Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care as needed

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)

  • Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred

  • Ventilator, trach, and pulmonary care experience preferred

  • Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

  • Ability to work independently and effectively during overnight shifts

  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or LTACH experience preferred
