Flat Rate Technician

Toyota of Clovis, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an experienced, Automotive Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

As a Flat Rate Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Pay for this position is based on production. Starts at flat rate at $33.80 per hour. Expected pay is $70K- $115K per year based on productivity and qualifications.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience as a Toyota Technician is highly preferred

• Experienced dealership technicians from other automotive brands are encouraged to apply.

• Minimum of 3 years of dealership technician experience as an Automotive Technician, Flat Rate Technician, Master Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.

• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical repair skills.

• Safe working knowledge of shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.

• ASE certifications are a plus.

• Commitment: Deliver a world-class service experience by completing repairs accurately and efficiently while helping customers keep their vehicles operating at peak performance.

• Excellence: Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership specifications while producing high-quality work that meets flat-rate standards.

• Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate technical findings and repair recommendations with Service Advisors.

• Accountability: Complete repairs within manufacturer time standards while maintaining accurate repair orders and documentation.

• Safety: Understand and comply with all federal, state, local, OSHA, and dealership safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and hazardous material handling.
