Overview:

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant for SMG Clinical Administration .

** All qualified candidates can receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus ! **

Position Status : Full Time, Days

Position Location : This is a hybrid remote position in Virginia Beach, VA.

Standard Working Hours : Monday – Friday, 8am -4:30pm

Overview

Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Certification/Licensure

  • Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
  • BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

  • One year of clinical or administrative experience
  • One year experience in a healthcare setting preferred
