Job Title: Dietary Aide – Full-Time and Part-Time – 11pm–7pm afternoon shift

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Join Our Day-Shift Dietary Team

Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable full-time and part-time Dietary Aides for our 11pm. – 7:00 pm afternoon shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare and senior living environment, supporting residents with their daily nutrition and dining experience.

Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide

  • Assist with preparation and plating of meals and snacks for residents.

  • Serve food and beverages and/or assist residents during mealtimes in the dining room.

  • Work in the dish room as requested, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

  • Assist Cooks with basic food preparation and portioning as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in quantity food preparation or food service preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus).

Skills and Qualities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.

  • Solid work history with reliable attendance and punctuality.

  • Patience, understanding, and compassion for residents and their families.

  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain sanitation standards, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Job Type

  • 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. afternoon shift also has 3pm-7pm available

  • Full-time and part-time positions available.

  • Weekend and holiday rotations as required by the facility schedule.
