Job Title: Level II NDT Inspector- (MT, PT, VT, UT)
Location: Clairton, PA
Type: Contract (Long-term)
Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 40.0
Overview
System One is seeking a qualified Level II NDT Inspector to support inspection activities for our client on-site in Clairton, PA. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate.
The ideal candidate will possess current SNT-TC-1A Level II certifications and have experience performing nondestructive testing to verify the integrity of materials, equipment, and structures. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with applicable codes, client specifications, and quality standards while promoting a safe work environment.
Responsibilities

Conduct Level II nondestructive examinations using Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT).

Perform inspections in accordance with written procedures, industry codes, and SNT-TC-1A guidelines.

Evaluate inspection results and accurately document findings in detailed inspection reports.

Communicate inspection results with project managers, engineers, and quality personnel to address any nonconforming conditions.

Complete and submit all required documentation before departing the job site.

Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration when required.

Follow all company safety policies, client requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) standards, including wearing company-issued uniforms when applicable.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Current SNT-TC-1A Level II certification required.

Level II certifications in MT, PT, VT, and UT.

Minimum of one year of experience performing industrial NDT inspections.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Working knowledge of applicable inspection codes, standards, and quality assurance practices.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
