About the role
Based in Mill Hall, PA, the Workforce Support Specialist will deliver direct day-to-day HR support to both leaders and employees. The position involves managing HR procedures, policies, and programs for specific functions and sites within the US. Although assigned to primary groups, this professional can provide cross-site support as needed. This position will report to the region’s Workforce Support Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Work Location / Mode: On-site / Hybrid support model based out of Mill Hall, PA.

Provide positive employee relations and manager capability support across sites, using observations and data to recommend ER strategies and initiatives that support employee morale and engagement.

Serve as the main point of contact for employees for HR-related inquiries, complaints, and customer service (e.g., case management, policy or protocol navigation), collaborating with other workforce support tiers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and comprehensive way.

Assist employees and managers with standard support activities, including promotions, investigations, corrective actions, PIP terms, and restructuring initiatives.

Support and coach leaders and employees on finding and using resources for core processes such as GPS, Performance Management, Development, and managing conflicts.

Attain proficiency in digital tools, with a focus on ad.a/ServiceNow, to effectively manage and resolve regional employee relations concerns while supporting key projects dedicated to enhancing HR processes and capabilities.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.

5 to 10 years of related human resources experience required.

Detailed understanding of human resources and labor relations principles, practices, and procedures.

Ability to successfully use digital case management and workflow management tools to complete core activities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cases simultaneously.
The salary range for this position will be $63,750 - 95,200 / year.
The hiring base salary range represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
