POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This intern will support our U.S. Energy division's finance team.
U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

Acquiredatafrom primary or secondarydatasources andmaintaindatabases/datasystems

Filter and “clean”databy reviewingcomputer reports, printouts, and performance indicators tolocateand correct problems

Use tools like PowerBIto visualizedatato create insightful reporting

Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Current student pursuing a Bachelor's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.

Junior or Senior status preferred.

Experience with reporting packages (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI), databases, and programming (SQL, R, Python, SAS, SPSS)

Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to write queries, generate reports, and present findings
-
Strong communication and facilitation skills

Good planning and organizing skills
