What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care, support, and encouragement to individuals in a residential setting while promoting their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting individuals with daily living activities and personal care as needed

Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and developing life skills

Ensuring a safe, positive, and supportive environment

Completing documentation and maintaining accurate records
-
Performing light housekeeping and household tasks
-
Responding appropriately to routine situations and emergencies
-
Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members
-
Encouraging community involvement and meaningful activities

Successful DSPs/CNAs/HHAs Nursing Students and other caring professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting others

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to adapt to the unique needs of individuals served

Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required
