As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will play an important role in supporting providers and patients through a variety of clinical duties while helping ensure efficient clinic operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building patient relationships, thrives in a team-based setting, and takes pride in delivering exceptional care.
What you can expect from this role:
Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week with Tuesdays off.
Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for provider visits by obtaining health histories, vital signs, and other relevant clinical information.

Perform clinical duties including injections, EKGs, and point-of-care testing such as urinalysis, flu, COVID-19, and strep testing.

Assist providers with patient care activities, procedures, and care coordination while maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Support efficient patient flow, communicate effectively with patients and care team members, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and infection prevention standards.
CMA Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications

Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
