At Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, we believe in healing with heart. As a Clinician at our McCloskey Cares Clinic, you'll be at the forefront of supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of children and families navigating life's toughest challenges.
This is more than a job-it's a calling. You'll provide compassionate care through individual, group, and family therapy, while also offering crisis intervention when it's needed most. Your work will help children feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward brighter futures.
Responsibilites:

Deliver therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy

Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care
-
Complete initial treatment plans within 30 days of admission

Update treatment plans every 180 days and maintain weekly progress notes

Prepare discharge summaries and ensure smooth transitions out of care
Requirements:
-
Master's level clinician with a degree in social work, mental health counseling – with diagnostic privilege (LMHC,LMSW); Licensure or limit-permit required
-
Bilingual in the Spanish language required.

Minimum one year experience providing clinical assessments/treatments, and/or case management services for children/adolescents and families.

Knowledge of the complex issues presented by children and families who are involved in the child welfare system.

Have some working knowledge of NYC systems including ACS, OMH, and DOE
-
Familiarity with OMH-Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Service programs operated clinics, Part 599 regulations is preferred
Position Hours: Hours include evenings and Saturdays; Clinical Service delivery will occur both on-site and via telehealth.
