Full job description

Prestage is a family-owned agricultural producer and processor specializing in turkey and pork, with vertically integrated farming and food operations across multiple U.S. regions. The company supports farming and food production through connected operations that help keep materials, animals, and products moving efficiently across the business.

This role supports day-to-day feed delivery operations that are essential to farm performance. As part of the team, you will help ensure feed is transported safely and reliably between the feed mill and farm destinations while maintaining the standards needed for compliant, dependable delivery work.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a feed truck transporting materials to and from specified feed mill and farm destinations.

  • Work in a single-driver environment.

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

  • Maintain driver logs.

  • Handle required DOT paperwork.

Requirements

Valid non-restricted Class A CDL.

Meet all DOT requirements, including minimum FMCSR requirements.

At least 21 years of age.

No DUI or reckless driving convictions in the past 7 years.

Eligible to work in the United States.

2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.

Operations: Experience in feed delivery, tank, livestock, or log CDL driving; experience working in a single-driver environment; experience completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections; and experience maintaining driver logs and handling DOT paperwork.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a DOT physical for pre-hire and be able to climb feed bins when needed in all seasons, shovel feed spills when necessary, and lift 35 pounds without difficulty.
